If you’re in the market for a mixing and mastering suite, then you’re in luck as Plugin Boutique currently offers IK Multimedia’s T-RackS 6 Mix and Mastering Suite for $30, representing a 70% saving from the list price of $100.

T-RackS 6 is a 64-bit release for macOS (AU, VST3, AAX) and Windows (VST3, AAX). It’s a limited-time sale, but I can’t see a specific end date listed by Plugin Boutique.

T-RackS 6 is IK Multimedia’s effort to provide a mixing and mastering solution that integrates into a single, efficient workflow.

The suite features 19 mixing and mastering processors. You can chain up to 16 processors simultaneously for whatever applications you need, with side chain functionality also included.

In addition to being able to run the modules as chains within the suite, you can also run each one as individual plugins in your DAW.

IK Multimedia offers four tiers of T-RackS 6, namely Intro (free), T-RackS 6 (€100), Pro (€200), and Max (€300).

The version that is currently on sale at Plugin Boutique is the €100 edition. The Pro and Max editions (currently at full price) feature 40 and 61 audio processors, respectively, expanding the processing choices at your fingertips.

The lineup of 19 processors in the €100 edition are: Classic T-RackS Equalizer, Classic T-RackS Compressor, Master Match X, Black 76 Limiting Amplifier, British Channel, Bus Compressor, Channel Strip X, Classic T-RackS Clipper, Classic T-RackS Multiband Limiter, CSR Hall Reverb, CSR Plate Reverb, EQ PA, EQP-1A Vintage Tube Program Equalizer, EQual, Full Metering, One, Opto Compressor, Saturator X, and Space Delay.

Master Match X is a notable inclusion, as it allows you to do genre-matched mastering with included preset EQ profiles and use reference tracks to tailor the mastering response.

You also get the benefit of the T-RackS 6 metering suite to accurately track your EQ and dynamics with various detailed meters, as well as an album assembly tool for creating a cohesive album sequence, complete with track metadata input.

A big pro that I noticed in the T-RackS 6 setup is that the individual modules have full control schemes with detailed customization available.

Often, when you see an all-in-one solution like this, the modules have simplified functionality when compared to individual plugin releases, but IK Multimedia has resisted the temptation to do that here.

T-RackS 6 is still quite a recent release, as it dropped on September 5, 2024. It debuted to very positive reviews, with criticisms generally being limited to minor complaints.

The most notable sticking point for some users was probably the question of whether it was worth the upgrade if you already have T-RackS 5, on which there are varying opinions.
