LovPassFilter 2.0 is a macOS (AU, VST, VST3) and Windows (VST, VST3) release.

To claim your free copy of LovPassFilter 2, hit the “Get The Plugin” button on the product page and sign up with a name, email, and password. 

You’ll then be forwarded to a link where you can log in using your email and password. After logging in, you can access a 158 MB zip file containing the Windows and macOS installers. 

The page will also display a license and product keys at the bottom. 

LovPassFilter 2.0

FKFX Audio drew inspiration from the analog circuitry of classic synths when creating LovPassFilter 2 and set out to capture the sound of their filters. 

The plugin features a unique LFO with morphing capabilities, which can create exciting sound design possibilities. 

LovPassFilter 2 also includes a modulation matrix, which integrates modules placed before and after the filter for greater flexibility in production approaches. 

FKFX Audio describes LovPassFilter 2 as the perfect complement to their Obvious Filter plugin. We covered Obvious Filter, a free morphing filter sequencer plugin, upon its release in June 2021. 

At launch, Obvious Filter was free, but it’s now $59. However, you can still try a free trial version of the plugin. 

LovPassFilter 2 is usually reserved as an exclusive for FKFX Audio Patreon members and is available only during special promotions.

Therefore, if you’re interested in trying it out, act quickly before February 12, 2025, as it might not become available again for quite some time after that. 

There’s no publicly available info about when LovPassFilter 2.0 was released, although the most recent time it was made available was by request for their Patreon members in December 2024. 

LovPassFilter 2 is a bit of an unknown quantity sonically. No demos are available online to hear how it sounds because it is a limited release.

However, several official and user demos are showing off LovPassFilter 2’s twin plugin, Obvious Filter, on YouTube if you want to get a hint about the plugin’s features.
